Please help i need advice for my teenage niece?

my sister found out today that my niece has slept with a boy on saturday at the time she was on her periods she said it didn't last long and she don't think he went the full way but we are not sure she really knows to be honest we are worried about pregnancy or sex transmitted what is the best thing to do first as we have never had to deal with this kind of thing please help
