Would you say Lenin was a bad/evil person?

I don't want pointless 6 word answers like "he bad because he kill people". I know his successor Stalin was a powerhungry and nasty mass murderer who had no regard for human life, far worse than Hitler, but I haven't yet read up on Lenin's history and philosophy.
